On site Crematory
As of April 2011, we at Fuiten, Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home have installed our own on site crematory. It ensures that your loved one never leaves our care and our community, giving us all peace of mind.
More and more people are opting for cremation as their form of final disposition. Some feel that it is a more natural or environmentally sound process. Others just feel more comfortable with the idea of cremation.
Cremation is the process of using flame and heat to reduce human remains to little more than the calcium in bone fragments. These fragments are further reduced to a granulated form so they may be easily placed in a container or scattered.
There are four main options when cremation is chosen as the form of final disposition, and any of these can be tailored to meet specific needs:
- Cremation following a traditional ceremony, which may include viewing
- Cremation following a viewing only
- Cremation before or after a memorial ceremony or reception
- Cremation when the decision has been made not to have ceremonies
Following the cremation, the staff here at Fuiten, Rose & Hoyt will help the family in placing the cremated remains in a cemetery or mausoleum space. We can also provide valuable knowledge and, or, assistance when the cremated remains are to be scattered, kept in one's personal possession, or apportioned.
We pride ourselves in owning our own crematory, which is clean and modern, and operated by our own caring, dedicated and licensed staff.
Please contact us with any questions you may have regarding cremation.
